Ahh, yes…finally! The temperatures are dropping, the air is crisp and refreshing (not muggy and overbearing), and the golden light of autumn calls your name, beckons you to be outside. The fall is the dream season for Lowcountry runners—including our CEO Lorraine Lutton, who is thankful for refreshing coolness after summer’s humidity.
Chief executive officers tend to be “get it done” type of people. That’s true for Lorraine Lutton, CEO and president of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, and a dedicated runner. “I like getting up early and getting my run in first thing,” she says.
Finally, the days are getting warmer and longer, which means one thing: prime running season is about to hit stride. And in Charleston that, of course, means the Cooper River Bridge Run.
